Birth Photography isn't about 'getting up in there', it's about documenting the moments that lead up to you meeting your new little one for the first time! What areas and hospitals do you service?
We service all of the maternity hospitals between the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Redland areas

What sort of photos do you take?
We like to tell a story with your photos. From arrival at your hospital to us leaving. We try to capture how the day looks from the outside, the bond between you and your partner, the love and support of your Midwives and Doctors, family and friends if they are included. It is up to each couple to decide how visual you want your photographs to be. As a mother myself I completely understand how personal a birth can be. So you get to decide how much or how little you want captured. I will make you feel comfortable in the hours leading up to your delivery and I am quite comfortable to take all the up close images to standing back or even leaving the room.
Do you take photos for same sex couples?
YES! If you have been able to conceive your baby via IVF or a surrogate we would love to capture your delivery and all the moments leading up to it. Just like any expecting family we believe love is love and we do not discriminate.
When should we book?
As early as possible! The day you get that positive pregnancy test even.

Leaving it to the last minute can mean you may just miss out.
How does it work?
In a nutshell, we most commonly come to you when you are in active labour (~3-5 minute contractions).

We will then stay with you until you deliver and for the first 1-2 hours after birth.
What do you photograph?
Every type of family, type of birth and situation (including stillbirth) – nothing is off limits.
We also capture as much or as little as you want. From labour to the actual delivery (or not) to sibling introductions.

Do you photograph c-sections?
Yes we do, we have extensive experience in hospital theatres and are very respectful of the environment.
Are you available for my date?
We limit ourselves to only SIX births per month –
sometimes more, sometimes less depending on dates, location and the nature of each individual situation.
